On Saturday 10th October we will perform a concert of 21st Century American music, including Eric Whitacre's 8-part 'When David Heard' which, in some sections, extends to nineteen parts! We will also be performing works by Morten Lauridsen, Eleanor Daley, Frank Tichelli and some less well-known composers.
The concert will take place at 7.30pm in St Laurence Church, Church Stretton. PLEASE NOTE: this is not our usual St Laurence in Ludlow. Same saint, different town.
Shropshire's premier chamber choir
Founded in 2014, the Ludlow-based Edge Chamber Choir are a mixed-voice auditioned choir, achieving a high standard of singing and specialising in performances of works by mainly 20th and 21st century composers.
